Valley View Elementary

I have been an educator for over 30 years and I am still passionate about teaching and learning! My educational background includes early childhood education, elementary education, speech pathology and library and multimedia. I have taught in San Jose, Fowler (little town outside of Fresno) and Rocklin.  Throughout my career I have continued my education striving to continue to improve my skills.

 

My family consists of my daughter, our cat and myself. Kaleena attends Rocklin High School as a sophomore.  She has been in the district since kindergarten and attended Valley View then Granite Oaks. Our cat, Princess Seraphina is 13 years old and her favorite hobby is sleeping. My favorite hobby other than spending time with my family is reading. My favorite book that I read over the summer is, Mo'lokai. It is a story about the life of Rachel who at the age of seven contracts leprosy.  She is sent to the leper colony on the island of Mo'lokai. This book was deeply moving with humorous moments woven throughout.
